My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was large and comfy, but there was a lingering odd smell, probably from someone smoking in there before. The service was outstanding, with friendly and efficient staff. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to the main high street and historical sights, but parking could be tricky. The dining was delightful, with fresh, well-cooked meals, but there were some issues with an event at the back. Overall, a good stay with a few hiccups.

Rooms

The room, though large and elegantly decorated, had an odd smell that may have been from previous smoking. The bed was comfy but could be uncomfortable for tall individuals due to the bedhead and soft mattress.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Winchester, with most sights within walking distance and a stunning view of the cathedral. The rooms are beautifully designed with charming old elements, but the poor lighting can be challenging. The service was exceptional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The dining experience offered high-quality meals, although limited choices. It's a bit pricey, but the location is hard to beat.

The hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of Winchester with charming rooms furnished with delightful antiques and generous amenities including a kitchenette with complimentary beverages. The service was exceptional, making our stay truly enjoyable, although the dining options were limited. The central location allows easy access to all attractions but may pose challenges for those with heavy luggage due to staircases. Overall, a gem in the city center.
